When I was small, my favourite pastime was to go to my uncle's garment factories in Cheung Sha Wan. Rolls and rolls of cardboard-tubes from the spools of cloth would be piled up on the long corridor, along with bags of plastic flowers from next door. My brother and I would play hide-and-seek here till the dinner clock rang. The lights of the factories were never turned off and the sound of the sewing machine would go on and on. Time passed and the world changed, but those vivid sceneries and sounds still continue in my memories.
