WONG Tin Yan
Wong Tin Yan is active in local and overseas exhibitions and he has worked for art education for more than 10 years. He was the first artist in the world to have an exhibition in a showcase train on railway. He finished a series of cross-over projects with world-famous brands, such as Louis Vuitton, SPORTMAX, Lee, Muji and izzue. In 2010, he was selected by Perspective magazine for the “40 under 40” award, as one of the next generation artists, and he also won an entry prize in GDC 11 (commercial interior design). Recently, he finished a major solo exhibition at Hong Kong Times Square and a much-acclaimed public art project in Shanghai.

In Hakka culture, Kirin dance is an important performance and Kirin is also an auspicious animal which can protect our home. As Tsuen Wan and Kwai Tsing is a Hakka region, it’s a good match to create a pair of Kirin and put it at the entrance of the exhibition venue.
