Pastel, ink andphotographic printing paper
The images used in the project were photos taken at Mo Tat Wan on, Lamma Island where I live. Sometimes, a sudden happening for a split moment in nature can inspire the creation of artworks and this work is one of them. Sand eraser is used to bring out the texture of the printed image and some touch-ups were made using different brushes, pastels and ink. The name of the project comes from the poem “Niao Ming Jian” by Wang Wei of Tang Dynasty).
